I am Sanket Daru. I live in Pune, Maharashtra, fondly known as the Oxford of the East, with my wonderful wife and child.

I’m a Senior Architect at IBM Consulting, where I help clients navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of Generative AI. My focus is on building Agentic AI systems and developing AI agents that can operate autonomously to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

My journey in tech started back in 2007 as a Java developer. Over the years, I’ve progressed into a career of software architecture with deep roots in building reliable, modular, scalable microservices and API-first systems. Today, I work across leading cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and IBM Cloud, and leverage modern AI platforms like IBM watsonx, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI. I also work hands-on with agentic frameworks like Microsoft AutoGen, Google ADK, LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc. and leverage Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol, etc. to build the next generation of AI-powered software.

Beyond the tech, I’m passionate about mentoring and giving back to the community. My blog is one way I do that, a place where I explore how software development is evolving, especially under the growing influence of AI. My audience includes engineers, architects, and technology leaders who are curious about the shifts reshaping how we build software today.

If there’s one thing that defines me, it’s curiosity. I’m always learning, experimenting, and staying open to new ideas and different perspectives. Colleagues and mentees often describe me as grounded, encouraging, and thoughtful; someone who listens, learns, and leads with empathy.

My perspectives are always evolving, shaped by curiosity, learning, and the ever-changing nature of the world around us.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography and am a huge fan of cinema, from Bollywood classics to Hollywood epics. These interests keep me creatively inspired and connected to stories beyond code.

I believe in doing good and accepting everything around as good.
